dc.description.abstractIn this article, the authors analyze the importance, role and perspectives of the European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union (FRONTEX). Emphasis is put on the West Balkans Risk Analysis Network (WB-RAN) and Rapid Border Intervention Teams (RABIT) role in the Western Balkans. In the third part, we discuss the level and prospects of cooperation between Frontex and the Republic of Serbia, as a potential candidate for EU membership.en
